The title says it all I do not need to say anything! By sating amateur match I am not in anyway stating that the match was boring, but on the contrast better to what the usual the first team played. But still this shows a bright future for the English football, although we do not know how the match would have turned out if it had been a first team England playing against what Germany had or if had been both 1st team. There will always bee IF’s but I got to congratulate Fabio on his fabulous job, but be warned Fab when you don’t get result the British press/public won’t leave you along. It will the whole cycle again! wait what cycle I hear yo asking the Cycle of:
Hey we got a brilliant Coach (Winning) —-> Off with his head we need a proper English coach (when their are out of the tournament or lost a silly match) —-> We need a better coach even if it is a foreigner! (When the English coach is losing matches) —-> Hey we got a brilliant Coach (Foreign coach doing brilliant job and the team is winning) —-> etc…
So please do not blame the coaching staff or the players or the FA cause its all our fault with this attitude of the press and public it induces pressure on the others, this how ever does not state we should not demand high quality but with a limit!
